Cancellation and Refund Policy

1. For Customers

Customer-Initiated Cancellations:

  • Each studio sets its own cancellation policy, including refund percentage and allowed cancellation window.
  • The specific cancellation terms will be displayed on the studio listing page before booking.
  • If a customer cancels within the studio’s allowed timeframe, they will receive a refund as per the studio’s policy.
  • If a customer cancels outside the allowed timeframe, no refund will be issued.

Studio-Initiated Cancellations:

  • If a studio cancels a booking, the customer receives a 100% refund or the option to rebook another studio at no extra charge.
  • If a studio cancels within 48 hours of the booking start time, a penalty will be charged.
  • Frequent cancellations may result in lower ranking visibility or temporary suspension.

2. For Studio Owners

Studio-Initiated Cancellations & Penalty

Studios can define their cancellation policy for customers, but if the studio cancels a confirmed booking, the following rules apply:

    • More than 48 hours before the booking: No penalty, but repeated cancellations may impact ranking.
    • Within 48 hours of the booking: A penalty will be charged, deducted from the next payout or to be paid before accepting new bookings.
    • More than 3 cancellations within 30 days may result in further penalties, including suspension or removal from the platform.

    Exceptions to Studio Cancellation Penalty:

    A penalty will not apply if the cancellation is due to:

    1. Natural disasters (e.g., floods, earthquakes).
    2. Technical failures (e.g., power outage, severe equipment malfunction) that make the studio unusable.
    3. Government restrictions or emergencies (e.g., lockdowns, curfews).
    4. Health emergencies (e.g., hospitalization of the owner).
    5. Unforeseen property damage (e.g., fire, water leakage).

    In such cases, the studio must inform ShootSphere support with valid proof (e.g., photos, reports, or official statements)

    Refund Processing

    1. Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 5-7 business days.
    2. Customers will receive an email confirmation once the refund is initiated
